Mommy & Baby Favorites: January 2016

It's the first "favorites" post of the new year and as you can see, the title is different. This is super exciting for me since I now get to share things that have been great this month for my newborn son! Being a first time mommy is all about trial and error, figuring out what works and doesn't work for baby (and yourself, too). So without further ado, here are our January favorites...

Earth Mama Angel Baby Natural Nipple Butter... this product has been used for 2 things- application between feedings AND as a lip balm for my son. When his little lips are dry, I put some on them and it really helps.

Burt's Bees Shampoo & Body Wash... I used this for my little guy's birdie baths and first real bath and it smells soooo good! I think this might end up being the only product I use to bathe him.

Burt's Bees Multipurpose Ointment... I bought this to use after his circumcision and it worked great- he healed up perfectly. But I also ended up using the ointment on his whole body because his skin was very dry and even cracking after delivery. A few applications and his skin was healed as well. 

Moby Wrap... I'm so glad someone suggested I get one because it has allowed me to still get things done around the house even when little man wants to be held. As soon as I get him in it, he falls right to sleep!

There are definitely other things that we tried and loved this month but I will just limit myself to sharing only 4 favorites with you each month. I hope you enjoyed reading about our first favorites!
